Grayslake High Schools, District 46 Schools Closed Wednesday

With bitter cold temperatures and dangerously low wind chill values in the forecast Wednesday, local schools and churches have begun to announce closings.

Here is a look at local closings as of 4 p.m. Tuesday:

• Grayslake Central and Grayslake North high schools will be closed Wednesday. All activities, including ACT Prep; athletic events and practices; and Grayslake Central “Class of 2019 Night” has also been cancelled. All District 127 facilities will also be closed.
• Community Consolidated School District 46 schools will be closed on Wednesday.
• Gloryland Preschool in Grayslake will be closed Wednesday.
• Precious Lambs Preschool in Grayslake will be closed Wednesday.
