Grayslake North Students Named National Merit Semifinalists

Three Grayslake North students have been named National Merit semifinalists.

Semifinalists from Grayslake North High School include Sarah K. Derango, Emily R. Ehret and Morgan E. Schneider.

The National Merit scholarship program is an academic competition for recognition and scholarships. Semifinalists must advance to finalist standing in the competition by meeting high academic standard, receiving a recommendation from their principal and earning SAT scores that confirm the earlier qualifying test performance.
