Juvenile Injured After Being Hit by Car in Lake Villa: Police
The collision occurred at Grass Lake Road and Oakland Drive in Lake Villa Tuesday evening.
A juvenile was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car in Lake Villa Tuesday evening, police said Wednesday.
The juvenile was crossing the road at the intersection of Grass Lake Road and Oakland Drive at about 6:35 p.m. on Tuesday, according to a Lake Villa Police Department press release. When officers arrived, they found him unconscious in the roadway.
He was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. He was in stable condition as of early Wednesday.

The driver in the crash is cooperating with authorities. The Lake County Major Crash Assistance Team (MCAT) was notified about the crash, which remains under investigation.
