Lake Co. Blotter: Battery On Blarney Island, OWIs On Boats

LAKE COUNTY, IL — The Lake County Sheriff's Office arrested the following people in recent days:

Delmy Y. Salgado-Zuniga, 24, of the 1700 block of Berwick Boulevard in Waukegan, was arrested on July 20 at Lewis Avenue and Yorkhouse Road in Waukegan and charged with reckless driving. He was later released on a $1,500 recognizance bond.

Michael V. Kaprelian, 34, was arrested on a warrant for unlawful possession of a controlled substance on July 20 in the 28900 block of Waukegan Road in unincorporated Lake Bluff. His bond was set at $250,000. Kaprelian, of the 600 block of West Washington Avenue in unincorporated Lake Bluff, is next expected in court on Aug. 12.

Emily J. Holms, 28, of Volo, was arrested in Volo and charged with domestic battery on July 21. Her bond was set at $25,000.

Mary R. Carroll, 61, was arrested on July 21 in the 35100 block of North Shoreline Road in Ingleside and charged with DUI-alcohol. She was released on a $3,000 recognizance bond. Carroll, of the 0 to 100 block of Aspen Colony in Fox Lake, is next expected in court on Aug. 11.

Ashley E. Torres, 36, was arrested at Grass Lake Road and Stonegate Road in unincorporated Antioch on July 21 and charged with DUI - Alcohol. She was later released on a $3,000 recognizance bond. Torres, of the 27900 block of W. Rowe Avenue in unincorporated Spring Grove, is expected back in court on Aug. 26.

Charles M. Peet, Jr., 38, of the 7800 block of South Rhodes Avenue in Chicago, was arrested on July 21 at Route 173 and North Delany Road in Wadsworth and charged with disorderly conduct. Peet was released on a $1,500 recognizance bond and is next expected in court on Aug. 26.

Muhamad I. Ibn Ahmad, 41, of the 200 block of McKinley Avenue in Waukegan, was arrested on July 21 at Route 137 and Interstate 94 in Green Oaks and charged with driving while license suspended, no insurance, and illegal transportation of marijuana. Ahmad was released on a $2,000 recognizance bond and is next expected in court on Aug. 10.

Kevin R. Tiemann, 24, was arrested on July 21 in the 10000 block of West Howard Street in Beach Park and charged with disorderly conduct. He was released on a $1,500 recognizance bond and is next expected in court on Aug. 21.

Frederick G. Warren, 34, was arrested on July 21 in the 26100 block of Forest Avenue in unincorporated Antioch and charged with criminal damage to property. Warren was released on a $1,500 recognizance bond. Warren, of the 33700 block of Royal Oak Lane in unincorporated Grayslake, is expected back in court on Sept. 21.

James E. Zavorski, 26, was arrested on July 21 at Route 59 and Grass Lake Road in unincorporated Antioch and charged with DUI - alcohol. Zavorski was released on a $3,000 recognizance bond and is next expected in court on Sept. 23.

Andre T. Judon, 52, was arrested on July 22 in the 700 block of Ferndale Street in Gurnee on a warrant for unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon and unlawful possession of a controlled substance. His bond has been set at $30,000. Judon, of the 700 block of Ferndale Street in Gurnee, is next expected in court on Aug. 4.

Diego Sanchez-Villalba, 24, was arrested on July 23 at Route 176 and Fairfield Road in unincorporated Wauconda and charged with aggravated DUI, aggravated driving while license revoked, criminal damage to property, illegal transportation of alcohol and leaving the scene of an accident. His bond was set at $75,000. Sanchez-Villalba, of the 0 to 100 block of Old Rand Road in Lake Zurich, is next expected in court on Aug. 17.

Jeremy A. Starling, 29, was arrested on a new battery charge on July 23 at the Lake County Jail. Starling, of the 1000 block of Adams Street in North Chicago, is being held on other charges and is next expected in court on Aug. 12.

Brain R. Krueger, 41, was arrested on July 23 in the 9400 block of Normandy Avenue in Morton Grove on a warrant for domestic battery. His bond was set at $100,000. Krueger, of the 9400 block of Normandy Avenue in Morton Grove, is next expected in court on July 29.

Joseph A. Frawley, 35, of the 1900 block of Pearsall Parkway in Waukegan, was arrested on July 23 at Lewis Street and Dugdale Road in Waukegan. His bond was set at $250,000 and he is next expected in court on Aug. 18.

Ryszard Siciarz, 67, was arrested on July 24 in the 25900 block of North Riverwoods Road in Mettawa and charged with retail theft. A $1,500 recognizance bond was issued for Siciarz. Siciarz, of the 19500 block of West Campbridge Road in unincorporated Mundelein, is next expected in court on Aug. 26.

William A. Rivera, 49, was arrested on July 24 in the 37200 block of North Green Bay Road in Beach Park on a warrant for domestic battery. Rivera, of the 37200 block of North Green Bay Road in Beach Park, was also charged with DUI - alcohol. His bond was set at $40,000 and he is next expected in court on July 29.

Max J. Richter, 24, was arrested at Riverwoods Road and Everett Road in Mettawa on July 24 and charged with DUI-alcohol and no insurance. Richter, of the 200 block of E. Ellis Road in Libertyville, was released on a $3,000 recognizance bond and is next expected in court on Aug. 11.

Davey J. Shower, 26, of the W800 block of Eau Claire Road in Genoa City, Wis., was arrested on July 24 in the 41600 block of North Circle Drive in unincorporated Antioch and charged with disorderly conduct. Shower is next expected in court on Aug. 17.

Trevor R. Tobias, 21, was arrested on Nippersink Lake on July 24 and charged with operating a watercraft while under the influence of alcohol. Tobias, of the 14400 block of West Everett Road in unincorporated Lake Forest, was released on a $3,000 recognizance bond and is next expected in court on Sept. 9.

Jerome E. Lewin, 64, was arrested on July 25 in the 21900 block of North Rainbow Road in Deer Park and charged with domestic battery. Lewin's bond was set at $20,000. Lewin, of the 21900 block of North Rainbow Road in Deer Park, is next expected in court on July 31.

Kevin Carillo, 25, was arrested on July 25 on Blarney Island and charged with battery. A $1,500 recognizance bond was set in the case. Carillo, of the 500 block of East Crest Drive in Bensenville, is next expected in court on Aug. 10.

Todd J. Fuller, 42, was arrested on July 25 in the 24200 block of West North Avenue in unincorporated Antioch. Fuller, of the 24200 block of West North Avenue in unincorporated Antioch, was charged with domestic battery and aggravated assault. Fuller's bail was set at $2,000.

Michael W. Figueroa, 35, was arrested on July 25 in the 25100 block of Lake Shore Drive in Ingleside. Figueroa, of the 200 block of Nippersink Road in Round Lake, was charged with battery and disorderly conduct. A $1,500 recognize bond was set in the case.

Jose L. Garcia Cordova, 27, was arrested on July 25 on Grass Lake and charged with operating watercraft under the influence of alcohol. A $3,000 recognizance bond was set and Cordova is next expected in court on Sept. 9.

Nathaniel Epps, 46, was arrested on July 26 in the 33900 block of North Route 41 in unincorporated Grayslake and charged with criminal trespass to property. A $1,500 recognizance bond was set and Epps is next expected in court on Aug. 11.

Frank M. Brock, 51, was arrested on July 26 in the 42100 block of North 5th Avenue in unincorporated Antioch and charged with disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property. A $1,500 recognizance bond was set and he is next expected in court on Oct. 7.
