Major Road Construction Projects Getting Underway in Lake County

It's almost that time of year again.
Road construction season is fast-approaching and there are several major projects that could cause for traffic headaches when you are out and about in the coming months.
The top projects, which account for $73 million of the $111 million the county will spend on roadwork in 2016, include the reconstruction of Hawley Street in Mundelein and the widening of two segments of Washington Street in Grayslake, the Daily Herald reports. Work has already resumed on those projects.
