Meet The Grayslake Police Department's First Female Police Sergeant
Jackie Teschner, who previously worked as a school resources officer at Grayslake Central High School, has been promoted to sergeant.

GRAYSLAKE, IL β Jackie Teschner has become the first ever female police sergeant in the history of the Grayslake Police Department.
Teschner, who most recently served as a school resources officers at Grayslake Central High School, was recently promoted to the ranked of sergeant, according to a post on the Grayslake Police Department Facebook page.
She previously worked as a patrol officer and a juvenile officer for the Grayslake Police Department. She is also a president of the Grayslake/Hainesville Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 299 and serves as the secretary of the Lake County Juvenile Officer's Association Executive Board.

"Please join us in congratulating Jackie Teschner, who was promoted to the rank of Sergeant," according to the recent post on the Grayslake Police Department Facebook page. "Sergeant Teschner has the distinction of being the first female Sergeant in the history of the Grayslake Police Department."
