• Firefighters rescue driver trapped in heavily engulfed car that crashed into tree in Hainesville (lakemchenryscanner.com) — Grayslake police are investigating a serious car crash and fire Monday night in nearby Hainesville, where Round Lake firefighters pulled a trapped driver from a burning sedan on Holiday Lane. The man, who was alone in the car, was rescued through a broken window, the fire was contained within about 10 minutes, and he was taken to Advocate Condell in good condition.
