Police Investigate Suspicious Incident Outside Frederick School
The incident was reported by a student who said a driver motioned for the student to come toward his vehicle.

The Grayslake Police Department is investigating a report of a suspicious incident that occurred on Wednesday morning outside Frederick School.
Authorities were notified on Thursday about the incident, which was reported by a student. The students said that at 3:20 p.m. on Wednesday, a newer tan or brown in color SUV or van stopped on Frederick Road near the school and the driver motioned for the student to come toward the vehicle, according to the Grayslake Police Department news release.
The suspect is described as a white middle-aged man with reddish brown hair that was combed forward. He had stubble on his face.

The student did not approach the vehicle and turned around and headed back toward the school and the driver left the area. The driver never attempted to exit the vehicle or make further contact with the student.
The police department is actively investigating this incident and is planning to increase patrols in the area.
