Both Dolan and Shields are charged with four counts of hate crime, a class 4 felony, and hate crime to a school, a class 3 felony.
The charges stem from a report received Tuesday by the Round Lake Beach Police Department claiming the door of the Lawn and Garden section at Walmart, 2680 N. Illinois 83, had been defaced by spray paint, according to authorities.
