The Round Lake Area Public Library is now an official Passport Acceptance Facility for the U. S. Department of State.The Library is very pleased to have this designation and to offer this convenience to anyone needing to submit a U.S. Passport Application (DS-11).
Individuals and families will be able to conveniently submit passport applications during the day; as well as on weekends and evening hours, when most passport offices are closed. We accept applications every day up to one hour before the library closes and no appointment is necessary! Applications are accepted on a first come, first served basis, and when necessary, a wait list will be implemented. Applicants are processed or added to the wait list only when necessary documents are complete and all parties involved are present. The library reserves the right to close the waiting list early depending on the time available for processing applications. Accordingly, please arrive early. The library does not take passport photos. Passport application forms are available at the Library.
