Vote Delayed on D46 Superintendent's Contract
For the third time the future of Superintendent Ellen Correll with the Grayslake School District 46 remains undecided.

Twice tied, and once delayed.
During the Grayslake School District 46Β board meetingΒ WednesdayΒ a vote was taken to delay a vote or even discussion on extending the contract of Superintendent Ellen Correll.Β
Board president Ray Millington said the line-item on the agenda should be delayedΒ based on "everything the district is dealing with right now in regards to the strike."

The board agreed with Mittington.Β This would have been the third time the board votes on the issue.
to extend Correll's $170,844 annual contract through June 2014 failed; both votes ended in a 3-3 tie. Board member Sue Facklam was absent from both votes. To pass, the measure needs a majority vote in favor.
