Wisconsin Police Arrest Man Wanted in Round Lake Beach Aggravated Robbery
Richard W. Randall was taken into custody Wednesday in Manitowoc, Wisconsin.
A 21-year-old man who had been wanted for an aggravated robbery that happened outside a business in Round Lake Beach has been arrested, police said Thursday morning.
Richard W. Randall was taken into custody Wednesday in Manitowoc, Wis.Β in connection with the Oct. 25 robbery that occurred in the 200 block of East Rollins Road at about 12:20 a.m. Randall and another man, Cornelius F. Sistrunk, 20, of Zion, are accused of beating and robbing a subject who was leaving his place of employment with money, according to a Round Lake Beach Police Department press release.
Police arrested Sistrunk shortly after the crime but a a $500,000 arrest warrant was issued for Randall.
Manitowoc police received a report on Wednesday that Randall was βworking on a carβ at an apartment complex. The person said they believed Randall was wanted. Police arrived to the location and found Randall who initially gave police a false name. He soon admitted to his true identity and was taken into custody, according to the news release.Β
Randall was being held at a jail in Wisconsin, police said.
