Woman Struck, Killed by Vehicle While Walking on Sidewalk in Gurnee
The crash happened near the intersection of Grove and Delaney roads in Gurnee on Friday morning.
A 58-year-old Waukegan woman was struck and killed by a vehicle while walking on a sidewalk on the 4100 block of Grove Avenue in Gurnee at 7:41 a.m., according to the Daily Herald.
Theresa Dowe, 58, was hit by one of two vehicles involved in an accident at Grove and Delaney roads when one of the vehicles was turning left and was hit by the other vehicle. Following the crash, one of the vehicles “rebounded” and ended up hitting Dowe on the sidewalk, according to the article.
