Worker Hit In Face At Grayslake The Freeze, 1 Arrested: Police

Grayslake police also have identified a second suspect in connection to the April 3 incident, authorities said.

GRAYSLAKE, IL β€” A worker at The Freeze in Grayslake was hit in the face this week after two men approached her car and demanded money, according to police.

According to a Facebook post by Grayslake police, the incident happened Monday around 11:20 p.m. Police said two female employees of The Freeze were sitting in their cars after the restaurant closed when two male suspects approached them.

According to police, one of the men demanded money before hitting one of the employees in the face through her car's open window.

According to police, officers were called to the business and apprehended one of the men. Following an investigation, police said the second suspect was identified. It's unclear whether the second suspect was arrested, and police did not provide a description.
