4 Charged With DUIs in Highland Park

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
Chad Williams, 21, Lake Forest was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, speeding, improper lane usage, open transportation of alcohol and disobeying a traffic control device after being stopped by police in the 1900 block of Skokie Valley Road at 1:58 a.m. on May 27.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
Othon Torres, 35, Chicago was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, speeding, open transportation of alcohol and no valid driver’s license after being stopped by police near Central Avenue and Fredrickson Place at 2:12 a.m. on May 30.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
Christian Gilmore, 38, Chicago was arrested and charged with driving under the influence, improper lane usage, driving while license suspended and uninsured motor vehicle after being stopped by police in the 3300 block of Skokie Valley Road at 3:36 a.m. on May 30.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
Tristan Grisko, 18, Justice was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and impeding traffic after police responded to a report of a subject asleep behind the wheel in traffic near Green Bay Road and Laurel Avenue at 12:01 p.m. on May 30.
DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED
Simeon Coleman, 27, Milwaukee was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended and speeding after being stopped by police in the 3300 block of Skokie Valley Road at 2:48 a.m. on May 31.
DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED
Shalyn Samuel, 31, Waukegan was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended, speeding and uninsured motor vehicle after being stopped by police near Park Avenue West and Skokie Valley Road at 3:17 a.m. on May 31.
THEFT
A “double headed” parking meter was taken from the southeast corner of Braeside Train parking lot before 9:14 a.m. on May 29. It was last seen during the week of April 20. Unknown amount of coins in the meter.
THEFT OF SERVICES
A group of 10 individuals visited a business in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road and had dinner. Of the 10 individuals, 6 paid their bills and 4 walked out without paying for approximately $30 worth of food at 1:29 a.m. on May 29.
THEFT
A wallet was reported missing at 5:19 p.m. on May 31 after visiting a business in the 1800 block of Second Street. Upon returning to the business the wallet could not be located. Cash and various cards (no credit or debit) were in the wallet.
