Ready for Independence Day? The Fourth of July is just around the corner, and we've got a complete list of area fireworks for the nation’s 241st birthday. Some of the events listed below include celebrations extending throughout the day, while others focus fully on fireworks after dusk.
- July 4, 4 p.m. - 10 p.m. (Following Fourth Fest)
- Wolters Field, Highland Park
- 9:30 p.m. Fireworks display. (Alcohol is prohibited and ttendees are not permitted on the Highland Park Country Club grounds for the fireworks show.)

- July 4, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. (Gates open at 5 p.m.)
- Deerpath Community Park, Lake Forest
- 9:40 PM Fireworks display follows performance by ex-Foreigner signer Lou Gramm
- July 3, 5 p.m. - 10 p.m.
- Brickyards Park, Deerfield
- 9:15 p.m. Fireworks display follows a silent auction as part of Deerfield Family Days.

- 9:30 p.m. Lakefront fireworks show follows twilight concert.

- Fireworks set from the middle of Lake Glenview, viewing areas to the west, south and north of the lake.
- July 4 festivities include parade, talent show and live music.
