Ready for Independence Day? The Fourth of July is just around the corner, and we've got a complete list of area fireworks for the nation’s 241st birthday. Some of the events listed below include celebrations extending throughout the day, while others focus fully on fireworks after dusk.

Highland Park

  • July 4, 4 p.m. - 10 p.m. (Following Fourth Fest)
  • Wolters Field, Highland Park
  • 9:30 p.m. Fireworks display. (Alcohol is prohibited and ttendees are not permitted on the Highland Park Country Club grounds for the fireworks show.)

  • Brickyards Park, Deerfield
  • 9:15 p.m. Fireworks display follows a silent auction as part of Deerfield Family Days.

  • July 4 festivities include parade, talent show and live music.

  • July 4, 5 p.m. - 10 p.m. (concludes five-day Morton Grove Days festival)

  • Meadowhill Park and Techny Prairie Park and Fields, Northbrook
  • Fireworks follow afternoon parades at dusk.

Skokie

  • July 4, 5 p.m. - 10 p.m.
  • Niles West High School, Skokie
  • 3-D Fireworks follow parade and 6:30 p.m. concert. (First 10,000 patrons receive free 3-D glasses.)

Wilmette

  • July 3, 4 p.m. - 10 p.m.
  • Gillson Park, Wilmette
  • Fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m.

Winnetka

  • July 4, 6 p.m. - 10 p.m.
