Upright MRI of Deerfield is proud to announce that it just completed an upgrade to it's already fabulous scanner. With our new upgrade we have intalled the new Quad Z imaging coils and new P2 software package for our scanner. This upgrade has added even more clarity to our already excellent images. Our radiologists and physicians are amazed by how the new upgrade has enhanced our images. They say the images are crystal clear. The bottom line, great images mean even better diagnoses. Everyone wins, especially the most important piece, the patient. Upright MRI, the most open MRI in the world that is able to take weight bearing upright positional images giving you the most true and accurate diagnosis. The Upright scanner was created by the inventor of MRI.Upright MRI is able to scan the patients in several positions to help provide the most accurate diagnosis. We are 70% quieter than all other MRI's. We cater to claustraphobics, especially those that don't find out until they have been forced to go into the conventional tube MRI's. We can handle patients with morbid obesity having at times fit a patient in upwards of 600 pounds. Children and infants can be scanned in the laps on their parents. All this occurs in the most comfortable surroundings. Most patients are seated while enjoying their favorite television program on our large plasma screen television.We have several patients that return and recommend us to their friends and family.
