Enjoy the magic of popular Disney’s animated classic, The Lion King at the magnificent Lyceum Theatre London. The stunning theatre has an occupancy of 2100 and positioned in the City of Westminister, on Wellington Street. Bertie Crewe rebuilt the theatre completely and beautified it with stunning ornaments in rococo style. Interestingly, theatre retained its original Beazley’s façade and grand portico.

In the year 1765, the Old Lyceum Theatre was built, whereas some enjoyable musical entertainments by Charles Dibdin were played on the theatre. Famous actor, David Garrick also gave some great performances at the stunning Lyceum Theatre.

From 1794 to 1809, the theatre building was mainly used as circus. Philp Astley brought circus at the Lyceum when his amphitheatre got burnt at Westminister. The current owner of the Lyceum Theatre are Ambassador Theatre Group and listed under Grade II. The magnificent theatre has undergone several refurbishments, such as in the year 1882, 1904, 1951 and 1996.
