HIGHLAND PARK, IL — The following information comes from the Highland Park Police Department as a record of incidents reported to the police and of those arrested by police. Readers are reminded than an arrest is not an indication of guilt, and criminal charges, which are often dropped or reduced, represent merely accusations by the state. All persons named are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.

INCIDENTS

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

Someone in an unknown vehicle left tire tracks in the grass and damaged tree branches and several bushes on a property in the 700 block of Euclid Avenue, police were told on the morning of Jan. 11.

HOME BURGLARY

Someone broke through the front window of a home under construction in the 1200 block of Glencoe Avenue. Nothing was reported missing from the home on the morning of Jan. 12.

CRIMINAL TRESPASSING

Someone rummaged through an unlocked Audi and an unlocked Cadillac in the 400 block of Park Avenue, police were told on the afternoon of Jan. 13.


ARRESTS

Jeremy Jenkins, 27, of the 100 block of Geneva Terrace in Round Lake, was arrested shortly before 1 a.m. on Jan. 9 on an outstanding warrant issued by the Lake County Sheriff's Office in connection with a charge of violating an order of protection after he was stopped by police in the 600 block of Elm Place.
