Group that organized opposition against District 112 referendum that was pulled stays active in informing public.

The CARE group that generated on Facebook a couple months back, first in organized opposition to a proposed $150 million referendum that would have created one “big box middle school” at a single site in the district and now as an acronym for Citizens Actively Renewing Education , has taken to live tweeting meetings to help inform citizens on District 112 matters.
The February 18 District 112 board workshop was not televised, but the CARE group provided frequent updates, first via Facebook then switching to Twitter once they realized you can’t technically “tweet” on Facebook.
