City Considers Bird-Friendly Proposal

New residential buildings may have to satisfy certain standards.

The city of Highland Park could soon require all new commercial, industrial and multi-family residential buildings to satisfy the bird collission deterrence standards in a LEED pilot credit program.

The proposal is currently being considered by the City Council.

City buildings are already required to do so.
