Community Forums Will Help Shape Future for D113

District 113 officials are holding 2 sessions in April for parents, residents and alumni to discuss the district's strategic plan.

Township High School District 113 officials want parents, district residents and alumni to chime in on the future of D113 and will be holding two forums later this month to discuss the district's strategic plan.

According to a district press release, the following community engagement sessions have been scheduled for the following times:

  • 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, at the library at Deerfield High School, 1959 Waukegan Road. Tours of recently completed referendum projects will start at 6 p.m.
  • 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 30, in the student commons at Highland Park High School, 433 Vine Ave.

These forums, which will help turn the "plan into an actionable, living document that grows with the District will focus on four areas:

The district held similar forums for staffers in February and March.
