Crash Near Lake Cook Road Results in Suspended Driver Charge: Cops

Cellular phone reported stolen from display area at Skokie Valley Road business.

RETAIL THEFT

On June 27, unknown subject(s) stole a gray LG G4 cellular phone from a display at a business in the 0-100 block of Skokie Valley Road.

NO VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE

Tera Marcum, 22, Waukegan was arrested and charged with no valid driver’s license and uninsured motor vehicle after police responded to a hit & run accident near Park Avenue West and Skokie Valley Road at 10:32 a.m. on July 1.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE REVOKED

Javier Osio, 33, Highwood was arrested and charged with driving while license revoked, uninsured motor vehicle and a seatbelt violation after being stopped by police near Green Bay Road and Park Avenue West at 8:28 p.m. on June 30.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE REVOKED

Patrick Brown, 34, Niles was arrested and charged with driving while license revoked for DUI, no rear registration lamp illuminated and attempt possession of a controlled substance after being stopped by police in the 2400 block of Skokie Valley Road at 9:59 p.m. on June 30.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

Adelina Elizalde, 26, of the 700 block of St. Johns Avenue was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended after police responded to a two car accident near Lake Cook and Skokie Valley Road at 9:19 a.m. on June 29.
