Dold Praises Pope Francis' Message of Compassion
The Illinois 10th District U.S. Congressman was present for the Pope's Thursday address in Washington, D.C.
Illinois 10th District U.S. Congressman Robert Dold, R-Kenilworth touted Pope Francis’ “message of compassion” following the Pontiff’s Thursday address to a joint crowd of U.S. House Representatives and U.S. Senators.
“It was a tremendous honor to hear Pope Francis address Congress,” said Dold. “We can all learn from his message of compassion and dedication to faith-based empowerment.
“I hope Congress will take his words to heart and move forward together to solve some of the most pressing challenges facing our country.”
