For over 35 years, the North Shore School of Dance (NSSD) has been a leader in dance education and professional training. Our dedicated faculty provides high-quality instruction in a nurturing, disciplined, and inspiring environment. We strive to educate the mind, body, and soul—honoring the tradition of dance as an art form. At NSSD, we don’t just teach routines—we teach students how to dance. Even though our last child will graduate in May from HPHS (Congrats to Jack!), thriving and successful high schools are critical to our community. When you cast your vote for District 113 School Board, you are placing your confidence in these individuals to uphold high standards and to manage the process with integrity and passion. We have known Lizzy both personally and professionally for over 15 years and during this time have seen her display the leadership, compassion and grit that is needed on the local school board. We particularly admire Lizzy's position on reducing stress for both children and parents in our schools. No other candidate or anyone else on the board has acknowledged that some families suffer from the pressures at HPHS and DHS. This is a real issue that needs to be considered as the board moves forward. Best of all, Lizzy is able to collaborate with all stakeholders in pursuit of educational excellence.
