Registered dietitian Carolyn Tampe will present a program about knowing the risk factors for type 2 diabetes and what you can do to prevent the disease from happening to you in a presentation from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 22 at Nuestro Center, 742-1 Sheridan Road, Highwood.
