North Suburban Synagogue Beth El JUF Event

North Suburban Synagogue Beth El hosts a dairy dessert reception supporting the 2013 Jewish United Fund-Israel Emergency Fund.



The event will feature Stuart Eizenstat discussing his book, “The Future of the Jews: How Global Forces are Impacting the Jewish People, Israel, and its Relationship with the United States.” In his book, Ambassador Eizenstat, a senior diplomat of international reputation, surveys the major geopolitical, economic and security challenges facing the world in general, and the Jewish world and the United States in particular. Ambassador Eizenstat held a number of key senior positions in three U.S. administrations, including chief White House domestic policy adviser to President Jimmy Carter and U.S. Ambassador to the European Union.



The event is co-chaired by Sharon and Allan Koltin of Glencoe, and Karyn and Bill Silverstein, Highland Park.
