Highland Park police and the Lake County State's Attorney's Office continue to investigate a fatal accident between a motorcycle and vehicle that took place Friday night at the intersection of Walker Avenue and Ft. Sheridan Avenue. That night, the motorcyclist - Nazar Petric - 21, of Chicago was pronounced dead at 7:20 p.m. RELATED:<a href="https://patch.com/illinois/highlandpark/chicago-man-dies-friday-night-motorcycle-accident-highland-park" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Chicago Man Dies in Motorcycle Accident in Highland Park</a>In response to this traffic crash, the Major Crash Assistance Team (MCAT) responded immediately to thoroughly document the scene, according to a news release from the Highland Park Police Department. Investigating officials processed the scene which included collecting evidence from the involved vehicles. Additionally, the Police Department obtained statements from the vehicle occupants and witnesses from the scene.
