Deerfield High School alumnus (class of 1969), former Highland Park resident and international humanitarian Radhanath Swami is returning next month after 43 years to share his wisdom and lessons of compassion. On Saturday, May 9, from 12 to 2 p.m., His Holiness, formerly known as Richard Slavin, will speak in the Highland Park High School auditorium, 433 Vine Ave., Highland Park. The GIVE (Go. Innovate. Volunteer. Educate) team is sponsoring the free event, which is open to all and will include HPHS Principal Dr. Thomas Koulentes, Highland Park Mayor Nancy Rotering and Deerfield Mayor Harriet Rosenthal. There will be complimentary refreshments and a book-signing after the presentation for Radhanath Swami's book, The Jour
