GPS Stolen From Unlocked Van on Judson Ave.: Cops
Honda scooter reported stolen near Edens Expressway.

The following information is from the Highland Park Police Department.
BURGLARY FROM MOTOR VEHICLE
An unlocked van was entered sometime between July 16 and 20 while parked in the 600 block of Judson Avenue. A GPS was taken.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT
On July 15, a yellow Honda Elite 250 scooter was parked on the shoulder in the 100 block of the Edens Expressway due to a breakdown. When the owner returned the next day, the scooter was gone with no record of it being towed.

THEFT
Sometime between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on July 21, three credit cards and an Omega watch were removed from a locked locker at a business in the 100 block of Skokie Valley Road. Two of the credit cards were fraudulently used within hours of the theft.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
An unknown subject threw a rock threw an east window of a home located in the 300 block of Temple Avenue at 6:40 p.m. on July 22 and drove off.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO VEHICLE
Sometime between 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on July 23, unknown person(s) used black spray paint to draw a line on the entire side of a white 2015 Jeep Cherokee parked in the 300 block of Temple Avenue.
BURGLARY FROM MOTOR VEHICLE
Three landscape trailers were broken into sometime between 6:30 p.m. on July 23 and 5 a.m. on July 24. Backpack blowers, gas hedgetrimmers and weed whackers were taken. The locks were cut from the trailers.
ATTEMPTED BURGLARY
Glass was shattered on the front door of a business located in the 100 block of Skokie Valley Road sometime before 9:13 a.m. on July 24. No items were reported missing.
THEFT
A cell phone was left unattended in a break room while charging at a business in the 1600 block of Richfield Avenue on July 24. Upon return, at 1:25 p.m., the phone was missing.
BURGLARY FROM MOTOR VEHICLE
A Lakland 55-60 bass guitar was reported stolen from a vehicle on July 23 while parked at a business in the 1900 block of Skokie Valley Road.
