Great teachers give more than grades, they lend a helping hand

Local teachers serve students and families on McTeacher's Night to raise money for the schools PTO

Bannockburn| Sherwood Elementary School students gave teachers an A-plus on their fundraising efforts to support local education and school activities.

Teachers from North Shore School District 112, volunteered behind the counter on Wednesday, October 23, at the Bannockburn McDonald’s located on Waukegan Road, where they served students and their families in a fundraiser for Sherwood.

Luke Roberts and Ashley Lmyak, tended the apple pie box during the night alongside, Matt Brawer who did an outstanding job selling pies to customers throughout the night.

The proceeds from the sale of pies went directly to benefit the schools PTO as well as twenty percent of the proceeds from the McTeacher’s Night sales.

Chris Prucnal, Owner- Operator of the Bannockburn McDonald’s was delighted to participate in the worthy cause for education and the community.
