Paintings by Janet Poppe and Drawings by Katelyn Wu are shown this month at the NSYMCA.

This month the North Suburban YMCA is pleased to show paintings by Janet Poppe in the Community Gallery. All works are for sale and a portion benefits the Y's Visual Arts Program. In addition, 5th grader Katelyn Wu shares her drawings in the Y's new 3D Gallery.

The Y's Community Gallery showcases the work of artists living and working in the northern suburbs in monthly exhibits. For information about the Gallery and other art programs at the Y, contact Cathie Winnie, cwinnie@nsymca.org.

About the North Suburban YMCA
Celebrating its 50th Anniversary in 2018, the North Suburban YMCA provides individuals in Northbrook and the surrounding areas with programs and tools that help them become healthier, more connected, and confident. We believe that lasting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together to invest in our community and each other. Every day we work side by side with our neighbors throughout 15 surrounding communities to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income, or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive. We focus on Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility. The NSYMCA is a charitable organization, inclusive and welcoming to all in our community. Learn more at NSYMCA.org.
