Highland Park Blotter: Criminal Damage, Theft, Battery
Windy Hill Lane dispute results in drug paraphernalia arrest.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED
Jovani Diaz, 29, Waukegan was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended after police responded to a two car accident near Deerfield Road and Skokie Valley Road at 10:18 a.m. on April 7.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED
Kendel Swindle, 25, Waukegan was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended and speeding after being stopped by police in the 1400 block of Park Avenue West at 12:18 a.m. on April 8.

BATTERY WARRANT
Ryan Nedoss, 19, of the 2600 block of Roslyn Lane was arrested and charged with two counts of misdemeanor battery after being arrested on an outstanding warrant at 9:06 a.m. on April 11.
NO VALID DRIVERS LICENSE
Gabriel Silvestri-Carvajal, 34, Highwood was arrested and charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and no valid drivers license after police responded to a three car accident in the 3000 block of Skokie Valley Road at 12:31 p.m. on April 11.
THEFT
A package reported as delivered on April 3 to a residence in the 600 block of Hill Street was taken from the front porch at 2:44 p.m. on April 8.
ATTEMPTED RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
Pry marks were located on a rear sliding door of a residence in the 400 block of Roger Williams Avenue at 5:07 p.m. on April 10. It’s unknown as to when the damage occurred and nothing was reported as being missing from the home.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO VEHICLE
A 2011 Hyundai while parked in the underground parking garage in the 900 block of Augusta Way was damaged by deep scratches on both the driver and passenger side doors, quarter panels and mirrors.
THEFT
Sometime between April 10 at 9:30 p.m. and April 11 at 6 a.m., a lock to a gate was cut at a facility in the 1900 block of Skokie Valley Road. Unknown subjects then cut and rolled back fencing and removed approximately 2,000 feet of power cable and feeder cable.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
Officers on routine patrol located graffiti spray painted in red spray paint on a private parking sign located in the 400 block of Laurel Avenue at 1:52 a.m. on April 13.
