Highland Park Blotter: Residential Burglary, Motor Vehicle Theft, Burglary from Motor Vehicle

THEFT
An unlocked bicycle, unknown make or model, was taken after being left unattended in the 0-50 block of Walker Avenue for approximately one hour on July 27.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
Sometime between 6 a.m. and 5:50 p.m. on July 28, unknown subject(s) forced entry into a residence in th 900 block of Park Avenue West and stole jewelry and two laptops.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
A rear sliding door was found smashed as well as a small double glass pane broken on a door at a residence in the 2800 block of Lexington Lane on July 29. Jewelry was reportedly taken.
BURGLARY FROM MOTOR VEHICLE
Cash and three credit cards were removed from an unlocked vehicle while parked in the 1300 block of Sunset Road sometime before 3:22 p.m. on August 1. It is unknown if the credit cards have been fraudulently used.
THEFT
A red leather wallet was taken from a purse while shopping at a business in the 1800 block of Green Bay Road on August 2. Credit cards that were in the wallet have reportedly been used fraudulently.
MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT
A landscaping truck and attached trailer were stolen from a business in the 2300 block of Skokie Valley Road on August 2. The truck and trailer were later located in Island Lake. All of the contents of the trailer were removed.
