How did the business come to be?

Business was started by Tom Nathan in 1956 at it's current location. Woodworking was something of a hobby for Tom and he wanted a local store that carried the unusual items.

What is your business best known for?

Go to Craftwood - they'll have it, or at least know where to get it. We are known as an old time lumberyard and hardware store in the sense that we know the products used in this industry and how to properly use them. We live customer service every day - oftentimes fixing things for you as you wait. More recently, we are known for very fair prices everyday. 

Does your business offer a special deals card or program?

We have a no-cost customer rewards program that returns 2% to you for every $250.00 you spend. Beyond that, our focus is on low everyday pricing.
