Highland Park Election Results: Stolberg, Brunk, Lasko, Jenks, Incumbents Lead
Unofficial results from races for Moraine Township, Highland Park City Council, District 112 and District 113

HIGHLAND PARK, IL — Preliminary results have been tabulated by the Lake County Clerk from elections in Highland Park and Moraine Township. In Lake County's unofficial results, late arriving votes by mail and provisional ballots are not included, but there were apparent winners based on results available Wednesday.
On Highland Park's city council, all three incumbents up for reelection, Kim Stone, Alyssa Knobel and Dan Kaufman, won four year terms. They defeated challenger Stan Lester by about a four to one ratio. For the two year term to fill the seat vacated by Paul Frank's ascension to the Lake County Board last year, Adam Stolberg defeated Davis Schneiderman and Laura Saret.
In contested races for local school boards, caucus-endorsed George Spathis lost out to Lizzy Garlovsky to join incumbents Julie Startman Gordon and Stacey Meyer on the District 113 high school board. On the District 112 board, Alexander Brunk, Bennett Lasko, Art Kessler and Daniel Jenks were apparent winners, with the only incumbent seeking reelection to the board, Jane Solmor-Mordini, finishing in last place. Brent Ross, had the backing of the local caucus, like Jenks and Kessler, but Ross lost out by around 750 votes.
