Irene M. Kramsky, 94, long time resident of Highland Park, passed away peacefully at home on June 16, 2015, born December 18, 1920 in Wausau, WI. Beloved wife of the late Irwin; loving mother of Claudia “Corky” (Alan) Kooperman and Robert “Bob” (Leslie) Kramsky; cherished grandmother of Matthew and Todd (Hye) Kooperman, Victoria (Heath) Woods, Elizabeth Kramsky and proud great grandmother of Ziva Gale Woods. Beloved Deerfield High School and Elm Place School Drama and English Teacher, mentor to generations of students, avid reader, tennis and bridge player, and loyal Chicago Cubs, Bears, and Black Hawks Fan. There will be a celebration of Irene’s life later this summer. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N.
