Highland Park Robotics Team Teams with Israeli Squad for First Place

The Highland Park Sister Cities Foundation hosted a Robotics Exchange between its District 113 Team and one in Yerucham, Israel, one of the organization’s sister cities.

The two teams has been collaborating on the Internet for months before the Israeli team arrived at Lane Tech High School to partake in a FIRST Tech Challenge, a robotics competition designed to inspire students to explore and pursue science, technology, engineering and math using a sports model.

The HP/Yerucham team won first place at the December 14 event.
