HIGHLAND PARK, IL — The following information comes from the Highland Park and Highwood police departments and public records as a record of incidents reported to the police and of those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law beyond a reasonable doubt.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

  • Someone slashed the tires and keyed the side of a car parked overnight in the 1400 block of Lincoln Place on the night of Nov. 23 or morning of Nov. 24.
  • Someone damaged the mirror of a parked vehicle in the 1200 block of Park Avenue at some point prior to 6:15 p.m. Nov. 24.

ARRESTS/CITATIONS

Elizabeth Rodriguez, 33, of the 1700 block of Marion Graves Court, North Chicago, was issued a local ordinance citation on Nov. 16 charging her with criminal trespassing for allegedly entering a home in the 200 block of Highwood Avenue without permission.

Blaise Macys, 21, of the 1600 block of Huntington Lane, Highland Park, was arrested around 7:30 p.m. Nov. 18 and charged with two counts of misdemeanor domestic battery in connection with a report of an argument in the 1600 block of Huntington Lane.

Terek Slater, 39, of the 200 block of Green Bay Road, Highland Park, was arrested around 3:30 a.m. Nov. 24 and charged with driving under the influence of an intoxicating compound and driving with a suspended or revoked license following a traffic stop in at the intersection of Skokie Valley Road and Parkside Drive. Police also issued citations for illegal transportation of alcohol by a drive and improper lane usage.
