HP Councilman Paul Frank To Run For Lake County Board

The two-term councilman will seek to represent the 11th District spot currently held by Steve Mandel.

Highland Park City Councilman Paul Frank announced Tuesday he will run for the Lake County Board 11th District seat currently held by Steve Mandel.

Frank, who is running as a Democrat, will seek to represent District 11, which includes the majority of Highland Park, Highwood and a small portion of Deerfield.

“As a Councilman for the City of Highland Park I have put my professional and public service experience to work to achieve results that have reduced spending and protected vital services. As a county board member I will try to bring a balanced point of view that comes with experience,” said Frank, who is in the midst of his second term on the Highland Park Council, holding a seat there since 2011. “Throughout my professional career and on the City Council I have always worked well with others on the other side of the table even if we have differing views. I hope that my experience and my collaborative approach would serve me well on the board.”
