HP Man Filed False Police Report: Cops

A Chicago man was charged with obstructing police for allegedly providing a fake name.

The following information is from the Highland Park Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

Mario Pedraza, 24, Highwood was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended and improper lane usage after being stopped by police in the 2700 block of Skokie Valley Road at 4:25 p.m. on August 10.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Eugene Goodman, 54, Evanston was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct after repeatedly dialing 911 with no emergent justification at 5:45 a.m. on August 11.

VIOLATION OF ORDER OF PROTECT

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

Bonita Sutton, 48, Waukegan was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended and speeding in a construction zone with workers present after being stopped by police near Parkside Drive and Skokie Valley Road at 10:54 p.m. on August 13.

FILING A FALSE POLICE REPORT

Jeremy Jarger, 20, of the 2900 block of Priscilla Avenue was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct for filing a false police report alleging harassment via text message found to be falsely created messages at 6:05 p.m. on August 16.

OBSTRUCTING POLICE

Shah Ajmal, 21, Chicago was arrested and charged with obstructing police (provided fake name) after police responded to a noise complaint near Eisenhower Road and McKibbin Street at 12:31 a.m. on August 17.
