HPHS Students Protest Racial Inequality

Students gathered Wednesday at busy Highland Park intersection.

About 200 students at Highland Park High School joined the movement calling for color-blind justice during a protest Wednesday at the high-traffic intersection of Green Bay Road and Vine Avenue, right near the High School.

The Highland Park News reports motorists driving by responded with a “cacophony of car-horn noises, as if newlyweds were just married.”
