And to think that not too long ago I was starving, underweight, and living in an animal control facility in rural Missouri. Now go figure!!
My name is SCARLETT, and I was rescued by the angels at Placing Paws. Thank you so much!! I'm a Great Dane mix, about 60 lbs now, and my foster mom makes her own dog food so I'm packing on the pounds with each passing day. Folks, I sure am lucky, and I know it!
I get along really well with other dogs of all shapes and sizes, and so far so good with cats too. In the potty training department I'm almost there, and I am learning my commands and I can sit, and I am learning stay and how to give my paw when you ask me. A genius if I must say so myself!!
I'm spayed, healthy now (thank you again!), and all of my shots are up-to-date. I love to play with squeaky toys and I like to carry them around the house. Oh, and I have no food aggression, which is amazing considering my background, but it's true, none!! Also, I can be trusted to run free in the house, which is great!!
They say that when I was rescued I had very sad eyes, but all of that is behind me now, and you can see the happiness in my eyes. I am so thrilled to be in my ultra-loving foster home, but needless to say I would like to find my forevers just as soon as possible.
Won't you please contact Placing Paws and ask to meet me? I am so sweet and friendly, and I would really love to become part of your family.
For now sending lots of love and licks,
SCARLETT
