HIGHLAND PARK, IL — The following is the most recent crime blotter from the Highland Park Police Department.

BURGLARY

  • Vehicle - April 13 at 4:36 a.m.
    • A resident reported that an unknown person entered their unlocked car and took things from inside.
  • Attempt - April 13 at 10:23 a.m.
    • A resident reported that somebody had entered their unlocked car, but nothing was stolen.
  • Vehicle - April 16 at 11:09 a.m.
    • A resident living on the 600 block of Vine Avenue reported that somebody got into their unlocked car and stole $11,000 worth of items from inside.

THEFT

    • A staff member at the Target at 2099 Skokie Valley Road told police that a man took $860 worth of merchandise without paying.
