Long Grove Strawberry Festival is Here!

Long Grove's annual Strawberry Fest is returning this year with an array of fun activities!

Historic Downtown Long Grove’s annual Strawberry Festival is returning this year, on Friday, June 26 and Saturday, June 27 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday, June 28 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The festival features refreshingly sweet strawberry treats, live music including later nights for the adults, family and kids activities, shopping for unique gifts and so much more!

Visitors are invited to enjoy three “berry” special days of decadent strawberry-inspired treats from local merchants, restaurants and vendors such as:

· Chocolate Strawberry Preserves, Strawberry Salsa, Strawberry Rhubarb Preserves, Strawberry Hot Pepper Jelly and many more free tastings at Galena Canning Company

· Specialty Strawberry Beer and other great craft beer by local Finch’s Beer Company

· Strawberry Wine made exclusively for Strawberry Fest by Broken Earth Winery

Bring the whole family to enjoy community activities such as tug of war, limbo competition, strawberry pie eating contest, 3-legged races, potato sack races, community performances and more! The Kid Zone includes a strolling magician, balloon artists, face painters, a “bubbler”, a community mural drawing, arts and crafts and more. Stop by the Kid Zone from noon -2 p.m. on Saturday to build a heart basket sponsored by Home Depot!

Live Music and Later Nights

After hosting “sold-out crowds” during May’s Chocolate Fest, Long Grove’s Strawberry Fest will also feature live music throughout the day and into the night, with big name bands such as Rod Tuffcurls & The Bench Press, Mike and Joe, Mr. Blotto and more. While enjoying their favorite sounds, fest goers will want to sip on strawberry wine from Broken Earth Winery as well as select beers, martinis, and more.

Adult Gate Admission: $5 Daily / Sat., only, 6pm – close, $8

Children age 12 and under are FREE.
