Man Exposed Himself to Kids at Beach: Cops

Highland Park police also nab a man who allegedly committed a lewd act while asking juveniles for directions.

Police in Highland Park made two arrests for public indecency on Saturday, one involving a man allegedly exposing himself to juveniles at a beach and the other involving a man allegedly committing a lewd act while asking another group of juveniles for directions.

Around 6:15 p.m., police arrested Daniel Campbell, 28, Chicago for public indecency after responding to a report of a subject “saying inappropriate things to individuals and exposing himself to a group of juveniles at a beach located in the 800 block of Sheridan Road,” according to a police report.

About an hour-and-a-half later at 7:43 p.m., Nicholas Reising, 45, St. Paul, Minn. was arrested for public indecency after police responded to a report of “a subject performing a lewd act in a vehicle while asking juveniles for directions in the area of Clavey Road and Ridge Road.”
