Man Violated Protective Order in HP: Cops

Purse containing cash and credit cards stolen while victim was shopping.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

Natasha Burgess, 27, Waukegan was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended after being stopped by police near Parkside Drive and Skokie Valley Road at 11:52 p.m. on August 4.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

Javier Osio, 33, Highwood was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended after being stopped by police in the 3100 block of Skokie Valley Road at 12:07 a.m. on August 5.

VIOLATION OF ORDER OF PROTECTION

Justin Giles, 35, McHenry was arrested and charged with violation of an order of protection after police responded on August 7 to a report of trespassing on a property protected by the order of protection located in the 1200 block of Sheridan Road.

SPEEDING 35+ MPH OVER THE LIMIT

Daniel Ortiz, 53, Round Lake Park was arrested and charged with speeding 35+ mph over the limit after being stopped by police in the 3000 block of Skokie Valley Road at 2:57 a.m. on August 9.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

Susana Oshiro-Carbajal, 29, Waukegan was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended and speeding after being stopped by police in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road at 10:23 a.m. on August 9.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

Samantha Cano, 23, Chicago was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended, no valid registration and uninsured motor vehicle after being stopped by police in the 1600 block of Skokie Valley Road at 11:30 p.m. on August 9.

THEFT

Sometime between 3:25 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. on August 4, a small gray purse was taken from a shopping cart at a business in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road. The purse contained cash, credit cards, checkbook and identification, cell phone, car keys and other miscellaneous items. The credit cards were later fraudulently used.

THEFT

Sometime within the last week, a ring worth several thousand dollars came up missing from a store located in the 600 block of Elm Place after showing it on July 16.

BURGLARY FROM MOTOR VEHICLE

An unknown subject(s) stole a set of keys from a locked locker at a business in the 100 block of Skokie Valley Road sometime before 6:14 p.m. on August 5. The vehicle was entered and a wallet was removed from the glove box. Credit cards were stolen from the wallet and later used fraudulently.

THEFT

A Louis Vuitton purse and wallet went missing after placing the purse in an unlocked locker at a business in the 100 block of Skokie Valley Road on August 8. The purse contained approximately 20 credit cards, cash and identification. No unusual charges have been made on the credit cards.
