Man Who Tried to Steal Liquor Flees: Cops

The following information is from the Highland Park Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

Angel Palmerin 24, Deerfield was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended and speeding after being stopped by police in the 1600 block of Deerfield at 10:49 a.m. on September 2.

WARRANT

Kristine Jaman, 50, Glencoe was arrested after turning herself in on an outstanding Highland Park warrant for possession of a controlled substance at 11:42 a.m. on September 2.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

Ben Anderson IV, 23, Zion was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended and only 1 headlight illuminated after being stopped by police in the 2600 block of Skokie Valley Road at 4:05 a.m. on September 3.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

Zenaido Diaz-Pulido, 41, Montgomery was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended and hand held cell phone violation after being stopped by police in the 1300 block of Half Day Road at 2:51 p.m. on September 3.

WARRANT

Matthew Smith, 22, of the 2100 block of Park Lane was arrested on a failure to appear warrant after police responded to a report of a domestic dispute in the 3500 block of Western Avenue at 6:23 a.m. on September 4.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE REVOKED

George Allen III, 36, Chicago was arrested and charged with driving while license revoked, speeding and and expired registration after being stopped by police in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road. A passenger, Jaime Gladney, 21, Waukegan was arrested on an outstanding failure to appear warrant for cannabis and was transported to bond court in Waukegan pending court date.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED

Stacy Lynch, 40, Waukegan was arrested and charged with driving while license suspended and expired registration after being stopped by police near Half Day Road and Skokie Valley Road at 5:44 a.m. on September 6.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Bradley Joyce, 45, Glenview was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and criminal trespass to residence after police responded to a domestic dispute in the 600 block of Central Avenue at 6:49 p.m. on September 6.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT

A black Range Rover was stolen from a driveway in the 1800 block of Beverly Place sometime between 6 p.m. on August 31 and 7:20 a.m. on September 1. The vehicle was later recovered by Chicago Police Department.

BURGLARY FROM MOTOR VEHICLE

The rear door lock of a commercial van was broken and several tools were taken sometime overnight on September 2-3 while parked in the 800 block of Half Day Road.

SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT

Sometime within the last two weeks, 13 vehicles parked in a lot in the 1300 block of Park Avenue West had the lug nuts loosened to hand tightness. All 13 vehicles were 2015 Nissan Murano’s.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT

A white Ford F350 dump truck and a white Wells Cargo trailer were stolen from a rear storage lot in the 1500 block of Old Skokie Road sometime before 7:15 a.m. on September 5. The trailer had three mowers and other small power equipment inside. A lock had been compromised to gain entry.

BURGLARY FROM MOTOR VEHICLE

An unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway located in the 0-100 block of Lakeside Place was entered sometime overnight on September 4-5. An HP laptop computer, an Apple I-pad, wallet with credit cards and identification were taken.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFT

A black Ford 500 was stolen sometime between midnight and 7:57 a.m. on September 5 while parked unlocked with the keys in the car in a driveway located in the 600 block of Burton Avenue.

BURGLARY FROM MOTOR VEHICLE

An unlocked Acura parked in a driveway located in the 0-100 block of South Deere Park Drive was entered sometime overnight from September 4-5. Various change was taken.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS TO VEHICLE

An unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway located in the 700 block of Highland Place was entered sometime overnight from September 4-5. Items were moved, but nothing was taken.

THEFT

Sometime between 9-11 a.m. on September 5, unknown person(s) removed a five piece dark brown wicker outdoor furniture set from near the front of a home located in the 700 block of Marion Avenue.

BURGLARY FROM MOTOR VEHICLE

An unlocked vehicle was entered sometime overnight from september 4-5 while parked in the 900 block of Marion Avenue. Cash, credit cards and identification were taken.

BURGLARY FROM MOTOR VEHICLE

An unlocked Nissan Rogue was entered sometime overnight while parked in the 900 block of Marion Avenue sometime before 3:19 p.m. on September 5. An I-phone charger was taken.

BURGLARY FROM MOTOR VEHICLE

An unlocked Hyundai parked in a driveway located in the 800 block of Marion Avenue was entered sometime overnight from September 4-5. Various change was taken.

RETAIL THEFT

A person removed an unknown amount of bottles of liquor from a business located in the 100 block of Skokie Valley Road by placing the bottles in a bag at 6:59 p.m. on September 5. When confronted and asked to open the bag, the person fled.

BURGLARY FROM MOTOR VEHICLE

An unlocked Lexus parked in a driveway located in the 700 block of Highland Place was entered sometime overnight from September 4-5. A change purse was taken.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS TO VEHICLE

An unlocked Kia parked in a driveway located in the 700 block of Highland Place was entered sometime overnight from September 4-5. Items were moved, but nothing was taken.
