Mother's Day 2015 Specials On The North Shore

The Pinot’s Palette Glenview studio - 2011 Tower Dr. - Glenview - is offering special mothers-themed events for everyone to share in the Mother’s Day weekend celebration starting Thursday, May 7 through Sunday, May 10 at 2011 Tower Drive, located in The Glen Town Center. Events are offered at different days and times throughout the weekend and include ‘Mimosas with Mom’, ‘Champagne Toasts’ and ‘Mommy & Me’ events. Full event listings can be found on the online calendar and range in price from $38 - $48 per painter.

“Mother/daughter groups celebrate nights out with us all year long, but this weekend is extra special,” said Pinot’s Palette studio owner, Mari Sokolowski. “We’re excited to build on the success and fun we had with these events last year.” The adult class tickets include a mimosa or champagne toast, depending on the time of the event. A ‘Mommy and Me’ event is offered on Sunday morning for those wanting to enjoy the studio with their children (recommended for children 7 and up), and includes two canvases for the price of one.

Guildhall Restaurant - 694 Vernon Avenue - Glencoe - will offer a sumptuous seasonally inspired Mother’s Day Brunch menu created by Chef Bradford Phillips. The menu features special entrée items, in addition to favorites featured weekly on the regular brunch menu, such as decadent homemade doughnuts and the Guildhall Burger. Guildhall also will be open for dinner.The menu is complemented by Guildhall’s original beverage menu, featuring the Guildhall Bloody Mary and fresh-squeezed juices.Reservations are available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.for brunch and from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. for dinner.

MH Fish House - 670 N. Bank Ln. - Lake Forest - will open for dinner on Mother’s Day. They are normally closed on Sunday. They will feature old favorites on both menus.
