North Shore Classic Half Marathon and 5K is This Weekend
Motorists and cyclists should avoid some streets on Sunday.

The North Shore Classic Half Marathon and 5K Race returns to Highland Park on Sunday, May 31. The City is working with RAM Racing to insure the safest running course with the least impact on area residents and traffic. A map of the course is available here.
All runners are expected to clear the course by 11 a.m. Fort Sheridan area residents are reminded that Patten Road will be one-way, southbound, during the event. Extra race staff will be posted in this area to help provide directions. The Police recommend that motorists and cyclists use the following east-west streets to access Green Bay Road in order to avoid runners in the roadway;
